Café-ERGO is back from INPEX, the inventors and new product exposition in Pittsburgh and we are pleased to announce that we won a Golden Award of Merit. During the convention, I pitched my product to Cuisinart, Ace Hardware, HSN, ERA and As Seen on TV. I also met a bunch of inventors and saw some incredible new products that hopefully will be hitting the stores soon. And speaking of products hitting the store, Cafe-ERGO’s initial order of double walled, self insulated cups are on their way from our manufacturing partner. They will be arriving August 15th. Yeah!
Café-ERGO is also happy to announce our sponsorship of World Usability Day. World usability day is November 9th and looks to bring inclusion through user experience.
Here is some information from their site.
What is World Usability Day?
On the second Thursday of November, organizers create a single day of events occurring around the world that brings together communities of professional, industrial, educational, citizen, and government groups for our common objective: to ensure that the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use. It is about celebration and education – celebrating the strides we have made in creating usable products and educating the masses about how usability impacts our daily lives. It is about making our world work better. It is about reaching out to the common citizen and spreading the message: We don’t have to put up with products and services that don’t work well and that human error is a misnomer. For more information, view our charter.
Who would have thought that one could build a better coffee cup, one that is simpler to use and exerting less stress on your hand and fingers. That’s what Cafe-ERGO does and we are so glad to be a sponsor of World Usability Day.
